Nov. 11, 2000 PCLS Steamup at Kevin O'Connor's
Coverage by Dave Cole

Grover Cleveland, left, and host Kevin O'Connor watch Tony Dixon's coal-fired Britannia steam by. The Britannia was built by John Barrett.

Tony Dixon and his coal-fired Britannia ... if Tony looks a little out of breath, that's because you have to chase coal-fired small-scale steamers.

Steve Shyvers, left, and Mike Martin reflect on some aspect of Steve's unfinished Roundhouse kit.

Mike Martin, left, enjoys the last run of his Pamella. Kevin O'Connor, right, has just purchased the engine and is getting tips from Mike.

The Pamella at rest before Mike Martin's last run.

With a head of steam, the Pam pulls a nice consist of Kevin O'Connor rolling stock.

Rounding the bend, the cool November afternoon allows the Pam to make a nice plume of steam.

Earlier in the day, O'Connor fired up his Union Pacific Big Boy. Here, it cools in the late afternoon sun.
